Them there Hills in the Distance - Lunar

Hi All

Took some moon shots the other night and this I think was the best of the bunch. Gives a nice side profile of the crater ridges and hills on the upper left of the image. A bit disappointed I did not have the camera absolutely square in the holder and some softening on the right.

Taken with the C11, 2.5X Powermate and Basler Ace camera.

Larger sized image on my Flickr site, see the link that follows. When it loads click on the image to bring it up to full scale. Lunar Hills Image

Thanks for looking.
Ted

Ted,

G'day.

Clavius is my favourite crater. You captured a view I have not really appreciated before. What a wonderful spread into the distance.

Cheers

That looks amazing! All you need to do is a mosaic of the entire moon at that resolution

Thanks Michael. Agree and we do tend to take the moon views for granted.

Thanks! I reckon that would be a challenge in seeing and patience!
