Comet P/Kopff (22p) & NGC 6559 conjunction.

Comet P/Kopff (22p) cruising past NGC 65559 in Sagittarius.

Kopff is currently magnitude 11.
Now with correct info.

Cheers,

Justin.

Thanks Justin,

I was hoping to see an image of it on this most recent return.
I've managed to view it visually in previous years but the weather here
in Sydney is not good at the moment.

I remember back in the mid 90's searching for it in Sagittarius which can be
challenging.

It was discovered by a distant relative in 1906.

By the way, the caption on your image reads "Comet P/Tempel (10P)".

Best Regards
