The Laniakea supercluster of galaxies (you live there)

In an article published 4 Sept 2014 in Nature, Tully et. al.
describe the "The Laniakea supercluster of galaxies".

Having just read about this a couple of weeks ago,one of the pictures zooming out of the local part of the universe, reminded me of something I had seen before.

could the universe be a brain? One being, there could also be billions more!
Good article here about Laniakea.

This is fascinating stuff. I remember this video and illustrations along with 3D rendering of the great attractors and galaxy groups mapped as color coded vectors. That was amazing.

Could the great atracttractor be an anureism? A tumor black hole? Sad to think our universe will end, but the good news is there are billions more, and infinite in time and space, nothing ends-life is eternal.

Some fascinating large scale structures and shapes. It's amazing what we can figure out despite the huge distances involved.
