NGC55 - String of Pearls Galaxy

Had some fun photographing this galaxy with a wider field of view.
Of interest is seeing the string of stars (pearls) that trails from the bottom of the galaxy.

Well done Andrew, well framed and great details.
Star colours look a little oversaturated though, with solid core colours

And yes, the string of pearls is very cool.

Thanks for the feedback Andy. I will try to address that core issue in my next image .

That's brilliant!

The 23 hours of integration seriously paid off. Hugely sharp detail, amazing depth, with lots of tiny little friends in the far distance.

Thanks Mike and Trish. Yes, 23 hours is a bit over the top I suppose, but being new to this game I wanted to see how it turned out .
