Sun November 10th

Been doing a bit of playing with Single and Double stacking & also inverting images. Captured between 715 and 815am this morning.

Will do so more processing of the 120gig data I got today before clouds rolled in again, so much for living opposite the water.

Also had a go at using the Meade Solar Filter over the 4SE Mak but damned hard to get a decent image. I think I need a Lunt white light wedge.

Thanks for looking
Peter

It's a yes to the wedge, I have a baader solar wedge, I use that with the Williams optics flt132 refractor. Years ago I used it with the 127mm refractor from China. I think you would be best with a large dia refractor, anything from 120mm upward. With my asi174 I have a vixen screw in 2.4x Barlow lens. With myastro gone from what it used to be I have no idea where you could get one now. It's brilliant, can do old Sol in 10 panels to make a whole disk

A clear sequence of images Peter. To me this process really helps for those details in Ha to stand out well.
Congratulations!

Hi Peter

Have to agree with the others, No. 1 stands out the best of the 5. Well done again.
