Yes, good move for the future unwanted photon issue.
Hope the dome gets underway soon.
Have a great year, Dave.

I planted a row of seven Leighton Green trees a couple of years ago as light blockers. They are really taking off now, over fence height and in another year should block a street light up the hill. I fear they will get out of control but at least they do the job.

Careful Dave, Rome was also burnt to the ground by it's crazy emperor.

Looking good mate, at least its progress.

Here you go..I was told to plant them two metres apart as they will grow together without crowding each other. I will have to keep a couple of them trimmed around the support posts for the ROR. They are on the south side of that fence so they suffered abit the first year until they got enough height to get more sun. My neighbor a few doors down has a couple that are two years older than mine and his are five metres high and about three metres wide.

Great to see it without all the water. Your trees are coming along nicely too. I hope this work is not going to bring on the rain again.

Terrific David. I'm gonna look into these shrubs for hedging, they look neat. I was about to say the same thing, geez your boy shot up! My "baby girl" is taking me over in height too.

Yes mate we have reached the age when our kids are taller than us, a long way from being held entirely in one hand

well now for today's effort. OMG i ache all over, can't squat, can't bend over, can't use my arms much but its worth it. I couldn't have finished this without the help of Al - and his long lost nail gun. hammering and screwing and not getting very far on the bracing - I would have been there for a year then i asked the right question for once, might go to bunnings and hire a nail gun? then Al says oh wait i have one........
