Frontier Optics

Hi Everyone,

Can I please confirm if anyone has purchased from Frontier Optics?
http://www.frontieroptics.com.au/Index.htm

I have never purchased from this site before.

Looking at acquiring the iOptron AZ Mount Pro with the tri pier option which from the USA will cost ~$3.1k.

Thanks,

M11

Yes, I've bought several items, including the AZMP (with the 2" HD tripod) and had no issues at all. They are iOptron dealers, so should be able to assist you with your purchase. You can also email or ring them if you have any questions.

I purchased my Explore Scientific AR127 from Frontier. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Frontier again. Good honest service and excellent after sales support.

I believe I may have been the first to purchase this mount (in Australia), so was a little concerned in case there were any "bugs". The only issue was the original manual that had some errors that did not relate to this mount. I notified iOptron, who were quick to respond, and they changed /updated the manual online for global distribution. I did later purchase the mini pier extension so that a refractor I owned could clear the tripod legs. There was an issue with the attaching bolts (wrong ones) but I adapted some to fit. Contacted iOptron (USA), and they promptly shipped the correct bolts.
iOptron appear to respond positively to constructive feedback, and I like this about the company.
