From tonight....
Canon FD 400mm F/2.8L @ f/4, Canon 60D, stack 17x20sec, ISO1600, darks.
Processing DSS, DPP.

From last night....
Canon FD 400mm f/2.8 @f/4, Canon 60D, 32x stack 30 sec and 10x 1 min, darks, flat, ISO 1600.

Nice shot, well done. Should be seeing more of this comet over the next month. Certainly something I'll be aiming at on the weekend if we get clear skies and I suspect many others will be pointing cameras in Wirtanens direction as well.

Great shot Bojan. I think I can see a hint of the ion tail. It's definitely getting brighter and in a good position for imaging.

It is closer and moving a bit faster (45 minutes drift is evident), and brighter...
But so is Moon, so.. no spectacular images yet.
100% crop from 20x1min stack (Canon 400mm FD f/2.8 @ f/4, Canon 60D, ISO1600)

Last night it was clear in Melbourne..
Stack 39x25sec, Canon 400mm FD F2.8L @f/4, Canon 60D, ISO1600, DSS, DPP.

From Mt Waverley tonight.. stack 50x20sec ISO1600.

It was not visible in binos, barely in Canon 400 FD F2.8 at ~50x.

Just saw it in Large 20 x 80s days ago in Sydney...as a glow ..some might mistake very bright M77 (in scopes) nearby Menkar for it at first..though thats much smaller really.

It could get brighter than 4.8 and become Naked eye in the Cities ...lets hope so.
