Looks like a good clear window coming over Victoria on Saturday night.
A little early to be exact but CFN looks ok between 9pm and 2am.
Thanks Paul and Jen for making my mind up to come.
Cant wait to be outside in the cold with other like minded people not just sheep and kangaroos like normal!!.
Hope to see you all on Saturday.
Cheers
Andy

Thanks Jen,
From what I've been told I shall just require a microwave, or an oven to heat a few things up.
Excited and looking forward to this weekend.
Hopefully I can get everything aligned and collimated early on.

Well, it seems I will not have a lot of time to see you guys over this weekend...
I started the flooring work in our house in Ballarat - and once in the mood, it is not a good idea to stop. Or is it?
Clear skies..

Hi everyone, I’m just seeing if anyone is at the snake valley star party at the moment. I’m coming up tomorrow and just want to see what the weather is like

Yes indeed, thanks Malcolm & crew for another wonderful weekend away
The company was great, the skies were clear, Jen’s onfield playlist was pumping and the spit roast was yummy!
Well done & thanks again, is it March yet?

Have just arrived home and unpacked - now to process all those lovely photons I captured - especially last night's, they were really good ones!
To Malcolm and Paul thank you for organising another great camp. To the new folk I hope that you enjoyed the camp, it was great to have you with us.
To John and Cam (Astronomy Down Under) thank you both for your informative talks. Thanks to Steve for the spit roast on Saturday night, and as always thank you to the regulars for your fellowship, help and company.
As Andy said: "Is it March yet!?"

Thanks to the crew for another enjoyable camp. With Toph there I did not really get a lot of viewing done but it was really more about getting him out for the weekend. We ended up spending a good chunk of time sitting in camp chairs watching for meteors, and he spotted what looked to have been an old, tumbling satellite so something new for him. I should have taken down the time and location to see if I could look it up and work out what it was.
I still got couple of great borrowed views, the usual wow moments on familiar targets through some nice big dobs, and a great view through a nice big frac showing what sort of contrast you can get with no central obstruction, 100mm + fracs are not my usual fare at all.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome on Saturday evening. Great to see some faces from years ago when I last attended and many new folks to meet. A particular thanks to Paul for kindly sharing time on SDM055 so I could reacquaint with old friends in the southern skies.
I didn't have substantial cold weather gear - toes froze at 4am Sunday at 2 deg C. Next time I'll be ready with the right gear and scope(s?) for four solid nights of enjoyment.
Is it March yet?
Eric
And indeed - many thanks Malcolm!

Hey Eric
Can I book you in for March yet? On a serious note, it was great to see you there after all these years.
