Solar Activity 9th June 2020 -Part 1

Today's interesting AR 2765 in White Light, CaK and H alpha (DS SM60/ ED80)
Definite signs of flaring and associated filamnets.

Enjoy!

John,
Thanks mate, appreciated.
I need to find a way around the 200kb IIS limit. The original are 3Mb Tiff are even more impressive.

Ivan,
I’d like to think there are more capable imagers with better equipment than I use out there. I do the best I can with the conditions down here on the Bellarine.

Very fine images and captured the filaments nicely, definitely worth the price of admission. Well done once again Ken.

Jeff/ Neil,
Thanks for the encouragement!
The ED80 set-up(s) for H alpha and CaK seem robust and just need more practice (and time spent on processing!)
The Genesis White light set-up needs some fine tuning before that's fully capable.
I'm also finishing a new 102 PST mod which cuts into imaging time, as well as a Spectroheliograph re-build, which seems to have a mind of its own.
