Luna eclipse weather forecast...

it ain't looking too good for Oz - particularly eastern Australia.

Perth appears to have the best long range forecast so far, then possibly Adelaide...but they are both a long drive from Melbourne. was really looking forward to a developing a timelapse after last year's clouds for the first half. next year I guess

We've got a partial view for about 2300 hrs over here but again weather is not looking good. I'd like to do a time lapse with it but we'll see what heppens.

True. The forecast for the east coast looks pretty average. Bummer.
PS: Looks like Southern NSW/Victoria will be getting some clear skies for the TLE. Even Melbourne maybe? What are the odds?

Weather is looking more 'promising' than originally forecast but I'm not saying no more.

LOL I guess I have learned self-control through astronomy.
Precipitation at the time of the eclipse: 99%.
I EXPECTED that, so I am not upset...
Maybe in September (just because the last eclipse is not visible here) we will have clear skies. We haven't seen a single one here...

So far it does look promising for Melbourne so I'll be at Mt Ridley anyway.

I've had 40mm already and it continues to rain. If eclipses can put water in my dams that are very low then we need more of them.

Ok I will rub it in, pretty clear here in Adelaide. May be streaming the eclipse from home through my scope, we will see what happens... Never done anything like it so it is a new experience.

Memories of Luna Eclipses of the past will have to suffice.
No chance to view the event from my location either.

Perth is dead, in my area south of Perth I have 100% cloud cover absolutely no breaks in the cloud at all that I can see.

Well the cloud did clear, although not entirely, but I am enjoy watching using my Takahashi 11x70 Finderscope.....I am just too lazy to set the NJP up. I really need a smaller grab & go mount.

Yeah ... Adelaide has clouded over. Looked to clear now clouded over with some very small breaks in the seconds literally! Clear other nights but not for eclipse! can't believe it.
