I'd have to agree with Mike. Carina is very good. Is there any way you could push the curves and/or levels just to bring out the neb just a fraction more?
They're fantastic Ken! Excellent images. Love the keyhole!
Thanks Mike. I was suprised anything showed up at all with the full moon.

Matt, I know how to fiddle with levels, but I have no idea what 'curves' do
its not about how much money you have to throw at the hobby you know, its more about how much fun you're having and how much you can leverage what you have in terms of gear

lever? I'm wringing every last pixel out of the Toucam
Like everything else you will do even better than these fine shots as time goes on !
And if the sky behaves!
I am looking forward to learning how to ring longer exposures out of the Modded Toucam. I reckon it can still get a lot more detail. At the moment my shots are still yuk from Pilot error. 30 seconds is the Max so far before all the stars balloon out. I'll get there
As someone who has given up on long exposure with the toucam (due to tracking and lack of widefield) , i am mightily impressed with what you have accomplished.
excellent stuff ken, never thought it could be done...........and yet here is proof!
Wow! They may not be in the same league as a 350D or the like, but I think they have done a better job at deep sky than a 350D would do taking a shot of Jupiter...unless you like planetary shots with 2 pixels!
