Hi Bryan.

I have not used with a Zinithstar ed70, but I expect so given that the specifications from William Optics state the following:

William Optics 2" APO Apochromatic Field Flattener and 0.8x Focal Reducer for 66mm to 90mm Refractors.

High-quality FMC
Lens-to-chip suggested distance: 56mm
Reducing factor 0.8x
Rotating T-ring adapter
SCT thread, AND 2" nosepiece
Weight : 210g

This very elegant 2" reducer/field flattener has been designed for optimal results with the 66mm series of telescopes, although it is functional also with other 80 or 90mm refractors. The SCT thread, on one side allows easy usage on the ZenithStar 66 mm telescopes. A 2" nose piece is provided together in the package for use with refractors without SCT-style rear cell. Finally a reasonably priced reducer/field flattener for the most popular series of small refractors!

- APS size
- Designed with APS chip-size DSLR cameras in mind.
- FMC doublet design.
- Produced entirely with the best Ohara optical glasses.
- Reducing factor 0.8X.
- William Optics polished anodized finish.
- Internal surfaces threaded and blackened for no reflections.
- Will accept any standard T-ring for DSLR cameras

I noticed that one was sold recently on by an imager on Astromart who advises that these do also work well on the Z70.

Although I expect that the 56mm distance from lens flange to sensor may need to be tweaked slightly to suit each particular scope.

Hope this helps!
