NGC3324 Gabriela Mistral nebula and NGC3293 Cluster

Hi everyone,

Been a long time since I posted any images so thought I better dust off the astro equipment and get something happening. I have recently bought a QHY183M and wanted to give it a test run. It is only 13 x 10 minute Ha subs captured last night while the baseball park lights were shining in my backyard for the entire imaging session!

The link to the larger image is here:

https://www.astrobin.com/full/393719/0/

Telescope: TS 80mm triplet F6 with flattener
Camera: QHY183M
Mount: NEQ6 pro belt mod

Thanks for looking!
Lucas

Thanks Mike and Trish. Much appreciated. I think the camera is a nice match for shorter focal lengths and glad to hear I'm not too rusty with processing considering my lack of imaging time

Thanks Marc. I was pretty happy how it turned out with the limited data

Thanks Chris. I agree with you. I have attached a picture of what it looks like from my backyard. It was taken at about 9:20pm but they remained on until 3am!!

You've got four of them. I have only one pointing up and the sky looks like a luftwaffe run when there's moist in the air. This year my LP zone has been upgraded from yellow to red. Top of the pops now. Don't know what's next. Sun burn?

Thanks Colin. I did spend a bit of time mucking about with the framing so I am glad it has worked out.

Haha...There is actually 6 floodlights (There's a couple behind the tree). Welcome to the red zone! I should take a photo of the other 50 or more lights I can see over my back fence...
