Pixinsight Zoom to Fit doesn't zoom

Hi,
Open up an image in PI and it displays the scaled image in a client window. If you then resize the client window to a larger size, then click [Zoom to Fit], the image is not zoomed or resized. Instead the client window is shrunk back to fit the image.
[Fit view] same behaviour
[Zoom to optimal fit] same behaviour

How do you make the image zoom to fit the window?

I don’t have my computer with me, but from memory you scroll with the mouse to zoom in (which doesn’t change the client window size), then hit zoom to fit which will resize the window.

Thanks Geoff. Like some many other things in this software, totally illogical and clunky.

I dont think it rescales to any aribrary amount, its always an integer ratio, Look at the scale change when using the mouse wheel. Like most PixInsight users you need to learn, PI is not at fault just you are not yet worthy of using it I'd guess. Want hand holding? avoid PI and buy AstroPixelProcessor instead.
