Plenty of clear nights here but the rogue clouds drifting of the sea at night have really messed with my auto guiding. With tracking you only loose a few subs but the auto guider goes AWL after a decent cloud passes through.
Here's a stack of 19 x 2min subs @ iso 800, canon 1100d, 10" f4.7 newt, auto guided on a HEQ5 pro.
Bad wording on my part , yes it's guided with a 50mm finder guider and ZWO120mc cam, so technically not "auto" guided as a stand alone guider. I use PHD2 to do that. I also have a 6" RC that does a good job but the resolution and speed of the 10" trumps it every time. Aperture definitely rules.
Sometimes difficult to get clear resolution near the core but you've managed to reveal fine detail right throughout. Nice subtle colouring as well, top effort Doppler.
