Smart phone piggy back adapter

I made a smartphone piggy back bracket from aluminium moldings from Bunnings ($21.36 total including 1/4" nuts & bolts). I thought I can picture Milky Way with my Android phone with a long exposure apps. But may be I don't need to piggy back if I can shoot the Milky Way in few seconds in a dark site Anyway good to spend a spare time in bad weather.

My wife suggested to attach 360 degrees smartphone camera but I declined gently. No point to piggy back I thought.
