PGC 49480 - what a little cutie!
How's this for a cute little galaxy. It's about 1.5 arcmin on the long axis. Found while processing an image of Hickson 68...
Cheers,
Rick.

Hehe it's pretty classic isn't it. Almost like a cartoon galaxy.

Not much apparent hydrogen in that one.
Beautiful little gal.
I always wanted to image the Propeller Galaxy. Might get around to it one day.

Thanks, guys! It's a member of the same group as the Hickson 68 galaxies but appears some distance away from the rest of the group.
The complete FOV is proving a PITA to process. There's a very bright star smack bang in the middle of the central cluster of galaxies.

I hope I didn't blow all the good stuff in the trailer and there's something left for the rest of the movie, Mike

Thanks, Ray. It would make a great target if it was NGC253 sized
