EQ6 Knurled Knob on Primary Locking Shaft

The knurled knob for the primary locking shaft has disintegrated in the vicinity of the grub screws.

I've had a look through the Bintel, Astro Shop & Skywatcher websites, but the knob isn't listed as an accessory.

Has anyone had a similar issue? If they did, was a replacement able to be sourced in Australia or did it require a special order?

Thanks in advance.

Is this what you're after?

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/d...AAAAAAAAAAD//Zhttp://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/d...AAAAAAAAAAD//ZJust need to work out what thread size & length, and what style knob you like. Elesa & others make them, and they're sold through a number of distributors like D&D Barry (sell Elesa & Ganter Griff) in Sydney, DOTMAR (sell System Plast) in most states, and other crowds. Have a look here www.elesa.com, www.ganter-griff.de & www.systemplast.com

Most likely cheaper than through an astro shop as well.

Hi Stewart,

Thanks for the reply.

That's heading in the right direction and I'll check out those websites.

Just to clarify the knob slips over the square part of the primary locking shaft and is held in place by two grub screws, providing the grip for the shaft to screw it in place.

Thanks again.
