stellarium

Well I'm one step closer

I've finally got stellarium scope to recognise com port one after trying a different rs232 adapter
it is now telling me I'm connected yay!!!!

when I try to configure my telescope (LX90 autostar compatible) thru stellarium
it wont start just stays in the stopped position
the scope is currently tracking the sky as it should but stellarium isnt finding it
any ideas ?

it all used to work so well with my old win XP clunker

cheers
Bryan

Hold the Phone !!

now everything works at last
thanks to this RS 232 unit I noticed the techo's using it on the
fire alarm panel at work,

I borrowed it for a try out and today purchased one after instant success
after trying 3 different ones and their drivers

it cost more but I 'm not bothered, its not giving me a headache anymore
it connected up with no fuss and little input from me

here it is :
