Hi All,
Please see a ‘Sky for the Month’ with a few spectroscopic targets
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=153470
(Observations forum) that also promotes collaboration.
As an intro, bright A-class stars (south, not just Vega or Vega :-) ) were listed for exploring.
- What do you think? Any more to add?
- If anyone would please post low-res calibrated profiles of these stars, it may help beginners.
Adding interesting science comments would be great too.
Suggest post here, for south celestial objects, or post direct links to a public-access repository.
(Actually….. 1 low-res plus 1 med-res might demystify and pave the way?)
- If anyone would please make available spectral images, it may help interested people,
who might not yet have gratings, to practise (discover the fun of) processing.
Could be both colour visual + mono suitable for processing.
