Hi all,
Can't seem to stay away from Mt Buffalo. Just love it up there, especially on cool (well ok, very cold) and clear nights. Went up there last weekend with the aim of doing a couple of star trail images for a little project I am working on at the moment, but when I heard that conditions for aurora were favorable I immediately went to the old faithful Horn Lookout to see if there was any visible. Not as big or bright as the last two displays I have imaged from up there but happy all the same. On the way back I stopped off at another favorite lookout to capture the Milky Way rising in the East over the fog in the valleys below.
"Third Time Lucky" and "Island In The Sky"
Both with Canon 6D and 14mm F/2.8 Lens
Cheers
