Carina Nebula

About 8 hours (5 L + 1 each RGB) with 60 second exposures for the Ls and 180 seconds for the RGBs. Using an ASI1600MM-C and an RC8 on an EQ6.

Full res available on Astrobin here.

Comments welcome.

Paul

P.S. This is what I was capturing last weekend just before I took an opportunistic snap of the Tesla at the end of the session.

There is an exquisite amount of detail that has been captured without super high end equipment
The colour is off but I do quite like it in this case.

Thanks Peter. I've tried to tweak the colour a bit on the version on Astrobin.

Thanks Colin. As per above, colour now tweaked a bit on Astrobin. I may have been a bit ham fisted though!

Nice detail, Paul. Colour is a bit anaemic for my taste (which may not be shared by others!)

Thanks Rick. I find it hard to judge the best colour - way too subjective!

Re detail: I've got a new mount on order, and the little old EQ6 seems to be valiantly trying to show me it's not ready to be replaced
