Now up for sale is my EQ5 mount and Tri-pod with stainless steel legs.
Comes with 2 x 5kg counter weights in white ( that's how they came)
Slow motion controls
Hardly used, I changed to alt/az mount.
In superb condition, no rust spots stored in Adelaide's dry environment !
Only 2yrs old.

I'm looking for a good mount for astrophotography.
Do you know what type of drive motor can be attached and whether this would be ok?

I'm not too sure Andy I think there is a mod kit available for this mount.
Other ice members should be able to help you out on that one.
Depends on your Astrophotoghraphy pay load as well.

There is an upgrade kit available, for the eq5 and heq5, they are very expensive though. I paid $695 for the upgrade kit in my HEQ5 setup which is currently for sale on Ebay. I think the EQ5 kits are about the same price.
