Sol Active Region AR 2699

Thought I would have a go at posting an image of new sunspot region AR 2699, taken on Monday. The area was actively flaring at the time but was difficult to capture with my set-up.
Details are - Stage 1 PST conversion, operating at 85mm X F 10.6 on an EQ5.
Canon 450D, 2.5 X Powermate, 1/500 sec @ 400 iso.

Thanks Peter, I have been following your astrophotography and telescope re-building journeys with some interest.
Next time I go for a surf at north Durras I'll wave as I go past the turn off to Depot.
