Astronomik clip filter question

Just got my Astronomiks UV/IR clip-filter for my Canon 500d.
Is it me or do they not really clip-in but simply rest in the space provided?

I suppose there is no problem of it droping out as the camera and scope are pointing up.

In my 40D you have to push it in, it doesn't click into place if that's what you were expecting. But it shouldn't be loose and fall out if you turn your camera face down.

Clip filter lose in 500d

Yes
Mine is lose allright. It simply slots in to place in the canon 500d and sits perfectly flush, however it falls out when i hold the camera upright.
I suppose i could just put a tiny peice of tape to hold it in.
Would this cause a problem?
Does anyone else out there have a Canon 500d? i would like to here what if any problems they have had with fitting the filter in to the camera.
I cant be doing anything wrong, i have followed the diagrams on the Astronimks site and frankly there isnt any where else for it to sit.
