Starsense autoalign for skywatcher telescopes

Hi, I hope i have posted in the correct section here.

I have been looking at the starsense autoalign for skywatcher telescopes.

I have a Skywatcher 16" Dobsonian and was thinking about installing one of these starsense autoalign for skywatcher telescopes.

Dose anyone know if they will work on the goto Dobsonians? or are they only made for the Skywater tirpods?

I have just been getting a few hit and misses when doing the 2 star alignment setup with the goto.

Nothing wrong with the setup procedure, even using a cross hair eye piece to centre the stars.

Worst run i had was after an alignment it didn't even pick up Jupiter in the 20mm eye piece.

So was looking at giving this starsense autoalign for skywatcher telescopes a go if they work with the goto mounts.

Has anyone had one on these mounts before and are they worth it?

Never heard of these being used on a dob, but apparently it's compatible. Most alignment problems are caused by the mount not being accurately leveled. Have you fitted leveling feet to the ground board, you can get them from Bunnings. You will need to fit three 19mm hardwood blocks to accept the threads of the feet so they don't go through the ground board.

Yes, got the Dob on a platform that can be wheeled out and have made levelling feet to get everything level.
Did managed to stall the motors once though, i had some cables connected to the fans i have mounted get tangled around the levelling feet while it was slewing around to a target and loaded up the motors and caused them to stall.
Fairly sure this wouldn't hurt or upset the unit though.
