I'm bringing up a spare HEQ5 mount that I'll end up selling if anyone is interested. Will be there Fri and Sat nights. Also an Iptron tracker.

I have lost track, is there a roast going on this time on Saturday night? Just planning dinners for Toph and I.

Snake Valley this weekend!

Hi Malcolm
Could you put me down for Friday and Saturday night, sleeping in my van.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again, although weather is not looking to great.

Question Anybody have a spare T2 adaptor for the Snake Valley weekend

Hi all,
On behalf off the noisy one... (you all know who I mean )

Does anyone have a spare T2 adapter, like this one shown below, that we may be able to borrow (or purchase) for use at Snake Valley this weekend ?

It has an external T2 (42mm) thread one end, and an Internal M48 mm thread at the other end. Approx 42mm in length overall.

Any help appreciated to get "She, who shall be obeyed" off my back.

Hi Rex

I'll have a look for you tonight - is it for a Canon camera?

Hi Paul,
No it's to use as an adapter to connect a ZWO1600MC camera to the ED120 corrector. I have one of these adapters that works great, but "SHE" doesn't.
Any help appreciated.
Rex

What good options do people usually bring?
Things to Microwave in the kitchen or other simple stuff?

The mentioned roast sounds good though.

All of the above Drew, people pretty much bring everything from microwave meals to bacon, eggs, sausages etc. The place has a decently kitted out kitchen to cook up whatever you bring.

Thanks Paul,

I think I'm going to end up with frozen meals other than the Saturday night.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Rex,

I’m also pretty sure I have one of those packed in the van, as well as other adapter parts we could assemble. Should have you covered

Hi Andy

Contact Malcolm re the paperwork side of your query - there will be plenty of space for you to park your van though. See you Saturday.

Hahaha thanks Rex 🤪 I haven’t been that annoying have I ? Haha
Thanks Paul, Paul and Andy for looking for some extra bits for me hopefully between a few of us we can come up with something for me to go deeper into the dark side and give CCD imaging a go and try out sequence generator pro for the first time this weekend woohoo bring it on.......
I’m just a little bit excited 🤩🤩🤩
ok I’m a lot excited hahaha 🙃🙃😜😜🤪🤪😈😈
I have ordered the adapter from Bintel but I’m not liking my chances of it arriving in the post before I head to SV 😱

Drew the kitchen has everything in it to cook what ever you would like to bring, so don’t be shy hahaha you just have to clean up after yourself or the OCD nazis will hunt you down while u sleep 😂😂😂😂😈😈
And to the noobie Andy I’m sure it will be fine to bring your paperwork with you on the day, there is always plenty of room on the field to camp your van, as long as it’s not on my special spot hahahaha 🙃🙃

One more sleep everyone, drive safe and see you all soon. 😍😍

Please, please let the skies clear for Friday and Saturday night at least - otherwise it will be my 4th SVAC in a row where the gear has stayed in the car!
