Great night last night. Could have kept going but for the forgotten extra dew heater.

It started good here too. Some high level haze around 3:00am though. All packed up now. Next few days are in the mid 30s.

Pretty steamy here today. A little too much cloud tonight except very early morning.

It was clear here last night but for what ever reason I had no motivation so I let it pass..the thing I knew would happen was the moisture would make it an annoying experience plus I suspected seeing would be less than ideal...and for sure if I set up the clouds would roll in...
Negative I know but I don't care.

Beaute night tonight. Seeing not as good as last Saturday but good transparency and no wind. Cool as well.

Who's taking a chance tonight? Against all odds it might be clear from 21:00 onwards with excellent seeing. Maybe the last opportunity before this week-end stinker.

I have actually packed up my gear, brought the scope in from the observatory, until the next New Moon period. I am happy enough with my initial EAA sessions.
Have fun and I hope it clears for you.

I packed up yesterday morning too just before it rained around 7:00am but if it dries this arvo I'm game for one more night. Good seeing is too good to pass up.

I rigged a wind farm blowing clouds from Western Sydney towards Newcastle.
Fish ranger - Oz forecast and the BoM. It's a big if depending on how the easterly breeze behaves but worth a shot. Maybe.

Clouds cleared around 11pm down on the South Coast ( near Ulladulla) , I was nearly going to pack up but waited another half an hour
Beautiful night with Milky Way banded across the sky
Currently imaging the Horsehead and Flame with my 8” f5 newt
Possums everywhere to keep me company
Finishing up around 2.30am

Did an alnighter went to bed a 4:30. Clear night with great seeing. Packed up now as it's going to get hot in the coming few days here and the moon is up.

Well done . Missed that. Was exceptionally clear early in the week.

Gonna be more than 40 degrees this weekend.

Yeah we've got 3 days really hot coming up end of this week. Last night was clear and very cool. Went down to 17c under cover. It was great to be out. The seeing was as good as Saturday 9th. Here's a couple of pics from my backyard. 15s and 10s ISO 1600. Looking NW towards Orion and SE towards Eta Carina. That's the moon setting above "Las Vegas".
