Mars 2016 04 29

Sometimes you are lucky as in this case. I woke up during a cloudy morning to discover a gap which lasted just long enough to open the roof, collimate the scope, start the PC and capture these just as the clouds returned. lol

excellent stuff Phil! is it just me or is Mars more cloudy than "usual"?

Thanks, Mars changes every day just like earth so it's not unusual to see new clouds and dust storms appear quickly.

That's great for a quick look! And really interesting to see the cloud changes over the past week since I imaged the same face on Sunday, that long high cloud over Syrtis Major is new. What next on Mars?
