Looking around

Hi,

I had a bit of a look around last night taking a few shots of different targets trying to decide which one I will focus on next. I really like the way this one is turning out.

Only a few subs so far and I haven't framed it correctly but I like the colour and the whispy nebulosity.

Very nice; but if you darken the sky background a bit the nebulosity will
really pop out.

Thanks Raymo. Hows this?

Its only about 12 subs so I haven't put much time into processing. Tonight is a complete white out but tomorrow is supposed be good conditions so I will get back onto it then.

A definite improvement wouldn't you agree. I would go a little further, but of course that is a matter of personal preference. I suggest you go further in small steps and save the one you like best.

Yeah it certainly looks better. Once I’ve got more data i’ll be able to do a lot more without clipping it.

Very nice image.Gavin.
From only 12 subs it's looking good.
Just some more clear nights this image will be stunning but when are these clear nights coming?
Cheers
Andy

Thanks Andy. Yep I’m hanging out for some more good weather.

According to StarCaster tonight (Wednesday) in Sydney is supposed to be 95% cloud free for most of the night. But a few other forecasts are saying more like 50%.

All the apps I use are saying Thursday and Friday are going to be perfect which is just in time for the new moon.

It says Thursday and Friday should be clear for Sydney on CFN, very windy though.

Every app I have is saying it’s going to be clear tonight. I’m pumped.

Pretty cloudy at the moment I hope it clears quickly.

Still cloud everywhere and no end in sight. This is so frustrating

It's still clear up here in the northern parts of Sydney. Nearly got an hour so far
