We now return you to our previously advertised program:

Accessories to make your astronomy more convenient:

A new mount for the AZ-EQ6 GT hand control to save reaching for it, it now travels on the scope just to the right of the StarGPS module:

Sharp eyes will also see the new handle to disengage the altitude axis.....

Make that alt-axis lever out of turned brass Matt. You KNOW you WILL.

If the thought of sticking to it in the cold scares you, leather wrap it.

At least Matt added the carabiner to the mount so he can pull it to the top of Mt. Kosciuszko

Actually a 16 Amp Hour constant 12.8 volt DryPower IFR12-160TB LiFePO4 Golf Cart PowerPack is hiding inside the SafeCase wired with Anderson PowerPole connections, separately fused and switched with outputs to Cig lighter sockets as well as Merit socket.

Nothing so crass as a lead acid battery

And a set of steak knives?

It reminds me very much of the Tak power supplies.

I have a 200 amp hour lead acid deep cycle battery that I use for powering everything. Had a power outage at come one night during a committee meeting for the photography club, powered lights and stuff until the power came back on
