Sharpcap and FireCapture

There are two features that are in one program and I can't find it in the other.

In Sharpcap I really like how you can pan the ROI while capturing so if you have a drift over the sensor you can move it without bumping the mount which is great so you can recenter when the capture is done. Can't find a similar feature in FireCapture.

In FireCapture you can stabilize the video loop so it makes focusing a lot easier. Can't find it in Sharpcap.

So maybe it's in both but I can't seem to see where. If anybody knows let me know.

Firecapture has the "auto-centre planet in ROI during capture" that will do what you want. It's a lifesaver for me.

Are you talking about the stabilizing box? I use that for focusing.

No, I mean this:

It actually moves the ROI if it gets within 15% of the edge of the ROI (configurable.)

The cutout box tracking option is even better - all you do is draw a tight crop around the planet with the "cut" box, and if you have the "Let the cutout box track the planet" checkbox ticked, then the really tight cutbox will move with the planet, keeping it in the centre of the captured video.

Image below, with the relevant bits circled in red. Have a practice using it with the dummy cam, you won't go back ...
