Thor's Helmet: ngc 2359

First time I've imaged this object - 89 minutes through the TS115 with 0.8 reducer and L-Enhance filter.

Great capture Tony. Didn't realise this one was up again since last time I had a go at it. How time flies!

The last two evenings were clear Mick so I've put in a couple of late nights. I imaged the Vela SNR too but I need to learn how to stretch the nebula without bringing up the stars before I can get a satisfying image from the data.

Thanks Carl. This would be a nice target with the longer focal length of your scopes.

Thanks Alex, Lost and Fernando. I'd like to add more time to this and other images but a lot of us struggle to get any clear nights lately (due to cloud or smoke).
