PaintShopPro comparison with PhotoShop

For the latest PSP 2020 there's a good comparison table of all the costs/ features between PSP and Photoshop.

I might have to give it a try, the Photoshop CC subscription does add up.
The problem I find with getting out of Adobe is that you only seem to be able to exit on the renewal date. I tried getting out a couple of months ago and they reminded me that they would charge me for the remainder of the subscription year if I left immediately. They offered me a free month to reconsider, which I accepted but I intend to exit at the end of the current period, which should be before Christmas.

DON'T confuse JASC Paintshop Pro that I use here with Corel Paintshop Pro.

I also have that but always go back to JASC

I have just downloaded Corels new one, 30 seconds, 330Mb to download, will take a look, version 18 is on ebay for £15

Personally never liked gimp, I have always found it harder to use than Photoshop, but then I suppose I have always used PSP, and a lot of this was initially bought by Corel, and it is understood that the early Photoshop copied much of PSP
