Solar Activity 20 Dec 2019

Gong is showing a couple of interesting proms and a new AR region coming into view.
Other forums say this might be an early Cycle 25 spot developing....

Will be around 46 deg down here today!
Sun screen is mandatory.

perfect conditions here in Nelson this morning (and a lovely 24 degrees or so top temp. I made a few quick observations with the safe solar dob and thought I could perhaps see a hint of the activity coming into view at the mid-northern latitudes. This solar minimum continuum observing is "good training" (or is it "you see what you want to"?) (i.e. sometimes I can see a hint of texture on the solar disk.).
