Look at the size of that thing!

Well, the Quantix mono camera has arrived, and if I can't get it working I guess I could hollow it out, attach wheels and travel around Australia in the thing.

Next to it is a DMK21 for scale...

Yeah, long road, I have to machine some fittings to get a shutter on there and then to mount that to the scope.
It is however the same chip as this camera, but with better cooling:

and cost well under a grand, so it is worth the effort methinks.
