Hi all,
up for sale...

IDAS LPS2 72mm Light Pollution Filter
(r.r.p $309US excluding postage costs)

As new condition, rarely used - no marks on filter ring or glass.
Box and spectral data sheet included
Also included in sale are 2 step filter rings - 72-77mm and 67-72mm in order for this 72mm filter to be used on lenses with 67mm and 77mm diameter filter threads.

Now... $250AU (postage in Oz included in price)

hello doug pardon my ignorance but is the filter made for a camera or can i fit it directly into my sct somehow?

Really suitable for camera lens.
You need a 1.25" or 2" filter for your SCT

Guys I use one of these - highly recommend them. I've found you can basically double your exposure times without being swamped by light pollution and this filter is supposed to be one of the best for conserving colour fidelity in your images.

Cheers for the endorsement Matthew - and, just to add, I'm selling this to fund the purchase of the MFA version of the same filter as my Astro 40D doesn't have the sensor shake function anymore. So I need some dust protection as well as a top shelf LP filter. Couldn't do without an IDAS filter - no way!
