ASI 2600 MC plus ZWO Duoband filter
Esprit 120 @F7

Bortle 9 sky from Glebe

Processed in PixInsight

I took some flats, so not sure why the image is not completely corrected as I can still see a dust bunny?

Detail starting to appear, you know, more time...

Check the exposure on your flats, and maybe clean the sensor?

Thanks Peter. I just spent 3 days at Wiruna under clear moonless skies and managed to grab 2 hours on this object. I havn't processed it yet but here's hoping...

Grab another 50 or so 5 min more would be better to bring the fainter dust out. Looking great so far, I've got some other coords for you too but I need my laptop.

Very crisp and great work on a difficult target . Maybe it is something other than dust.

Thanks Ray, I spent the weekend under dark skies at Wiruna and got 2 hours on this. I have processed other images from then and the artifact seems to be gone
