NGC 5566 (Arp 286)

Going through my picture files, sitting at home, I came across this one from 2018 which I hadn't finished processing. However, better late than never, so here it is

Maaaate. Seeing this image was like hearing a Steely Dan riff on the airwaves, a refreshing respite from the unimaginative "duff-duff and duh" on the radio.

Excellent imaging is not that common.

So much stuff on the 'net is vanilla.

I think you've nailed it with this one.

Nice image Geoff, I have not seen those two before. The detail in the cores is nice.
