QHY9 and ASCOM Logs

Just wanted to give a bit of a shoutout and warning of anyone that uses the QHY9 and more specifically with MaximDL. I don't know whether the same thing occurs with software other than MaximDL but considering that it is within ASCOM, I can only assume it does.

ASCOM keeps logs of what it does, pretty standard. What I have very recently discovered (while tracking down near 6gb of memory that I couldn't account for) is that ASCOM keeps a LOT of information in logs from the QHY9, not an issue that I have with my QHY22. To give a comparison, I have 5.55gb of logs from my QHY9 and only 4.2mb from the QHY22.

So, for anyone using a QHY9 I would suggest having a look at your ASCOM log files and seeing what you have amassed. By the way, the 5.55gb of logs is only on one of my imaging laptops (i tend to swap and change between my MacBook Pro and my el'cheapo HP laptop), I haven't checked that one yet.

Found out that it kept the logs when using SGP as well so it would appear (still haven't checked my other imaging laptop) that ASCOM is the one keeping all of the logs.

For a whole night of imaging I have some 400-500 MB log files
