C11, 3D printed bahtinov mask

Bad weather so I finished couple of background jobs, one of them was Bahtinov mask.
I used this design.. however, the centre ring I printed separately and glued to mask (I had problems with lifting edges from working plate).

When not in use, mask is stored inside the OTA front cover, held in place by collar with fingers (fixed with 6 small screws to the lid).

Intriguing. If one was a neo Luddite one could make a mask out of stiff thin cardboard. I'm always having problems with focusing.

Or glue bits of strip aluminium to a sheet of perspex.

Guys,

The intention of the thread was to demonstrate the practical storage of the mask (of any design) when not in use...

BTW, I suspect the sheet of perspex wouldn't work very well - but using the optical flat glass plate would be OK.
And there is no need to glue anything - 3 sets of parallel sctratches would work just as fine, if not better.
Or, lines drawn using permanent marker...
