Great app, and a good investment for the future. It does everything you will need. I just start up my sequence and go to bed, SGP wakes me up if something goes wrong, or notifies me when it has finished. It works well over Teamviewer, so remote operation can be monitored and controlled from your lounge room.

If you're at the phase of looking for similar software, it might be worth checking out Voyager: https://software.starkeeper.it/index.php/voyager/ It's generating a bit of interest.

I use SGP and like it a lot, as an alternate have a look at Nina https://nighttime-imaging.eu/ , its in early development, is open source but looks like a winner especially as its free, I've loaded and tried it, it works great and is a little bit easier to setup than SGP

Hi Ian,

Do not discount KStars/EKOS. The remote functionality and scheduling are great. Here is a link to the information page (below). It is free. Runs well off a Raspberry Pi at the scope. Remote control by laptop or PC from inside either by TeamViewer (free) or using Kstars for Windows remotely (which is my preference as the interface is nice and slick).
Lots of challenges but hey many here can help you out and who doesn't relish a challenge!

Lots of videos on line and your mount is ideal using indi-eqmod driver.
