Grasshopper 2, any good?

I need to purchase this camera for a telecine job:

My question is, is it any good for astro work? Once the job is finished I could buy it off the project at a reduced price, just wondering if it might be worth it?

Peter,

see here some saturn work bird has done with a Grasshopper camera from Point Grey... http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ht=grasshopper

I beleive they have an ROI function that allows you to use only part of the ccd for fast imaging (ie planetary work).
