Nice surprise this morning seeing a second spot rounding the limb and makes for some interesting imaging in coming week or two

Ahh, so that's what these look like under their outer skin!

Nice images Marke, are these (filtered images) as affected by seeing conditions as white light?

Cheers

Probably not as much but with out direct comparison I couldn't say for sure how seeing compares. Seeing today was quite bad compared to yesterday tho

Thanks Mark.

Over Brisbane, the jet stream map looked promising today but didn't quite deliver. Looking at the computer screen, I could not resolve any solar granules which is my usual test for good seeing.

However, AS!3 and Registax6 managed to save the day for me.

Cheers

Good that you got something from it especially given limited opportunity with the weather

Beautiful images once again, #2 really does it for me. Tried today in white light as well as Ha but the seeing really affects the white light, was not possible to get a sharp image. Ha cuts through the bad seeing much better.

I do like seeing the white light images but I love the aesthetics of the Ha
I think you are right about less affected by seeing.
