Great stuff RB and Deeno. Great photos of a fantastic weekend, just a shame the shootout between Peter (peterau aka the texas ranger) and his FLT and my Tak didn't eventuate - always next year.
There were some multiple shots and the rest are of the prize draw and talks, they'll be posted later.

You know, I had the camera in my backpack when I came up to see you, but I got sidetracked talking to you about your lovely tak setup I plumb forgot to get it out and get some shots of you.
I must admit though I didn't really know anyone else and was cautious so as not to offend anyone.
I know it's a bit intimidating having this weirdo that you don't know, stick a zoom lens in your face and take your pic and because of the weather most scopes were usually covered up.
I'll have to make a point and get around a bit more next year.

Whats even funnier is that I actualy met you almost two years ago on one of our observing jaunts and thought I was being stalked by a grinning stranger at the local shopping centre just a couple of months ago!!!
What are you talking about?
I knew it was you at the shopping centre and I was still scared to approach you !

Andrew, for some reason, I'm really drawn to the image of the lone Meade. It is tack sharp. Beautiful!
Were these taken with your 20Da? Also, which lenses were you using? Is that you with a 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM being packed away in one of Deeno's shots? *dribble and drool*

G'day H,
I really like the Meade shot too, thanks.
LOL yes you're spot on, I took all these with the 20Da and the 70-200 L f/2.8 IS (who told you ).
Actually the one of Chris (33south) was taken with the 85L wide open on f/1.2, I was showing him how 'paper thin' the DOF is when it's wide open.
The 20Da is still a great performer for me, both for astro and terrestrial.
