Water repellent glass

Hi guys,

I'm planning on doing as much photography of lightning storms as I can this coming spring.

One of the issues I've found in previous goes at getting lightning shots is that not too surprisingly lightning is often associated with rain and gusty wind.

I'd like to build a box with a glass panel at the front, to sit the camera in to prevent my camera from getting soaked as well as to make it easy to wipe water droplets off.

Does anyone know where you buy water repelling glass? or have any advice on where to get glass suitable for this type of project?

cheers
Dan
