July Photo Challenge - Entries (Please Post them here)

The Topic this month (thanks to UniPol) is : “Trucks

OK, seems nice and straight forward, lets see what you can do to impress the judges with that!
...and keep safe on the roads!

Reminders ...
* This thread is only for posting your entry, together with any comments/explanation/details you'd like to issue concerning your own photo.
[sometimes this may help sway the judges]
* comments on other peoples' entries, or if you have any "other" shots of your own you'd like to share, can be posted in the Comments and Rejects Thread -> HERE.
* only one entry (that's just one image) per person (but you can change it out at any time if you get a better one)
* the image must be your own work and
* all other normal forum rules, and image size limits, apply.

The image doesn't necessarily have to be taken this month, but in the spirit of the challenge, we encourage you to get out and engage with it.
In this regard, YES, the image may be one that you have previously posted, unless of course it has already been voted a previous photo challenge winner.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame".

Good Luck!

Venice Trucks

I'm used to seeing trucks on the road but this pic taken on the Venezian Channel a couple of years ago certainly made me look twice. The weather was pretty wet to say the least and the light was quite eerie.

Suspension is for wusses...

Coincidentally photo was taken from inside a Kamaz truck (my brother in law is a truck driver). It's the only photo of a truck I have too

A late 19th century (1888) section of a railroad truck and wheels.

Note the spoked wheels.
