Hi all,

I'll start us off. Took this last month on our cruise to New Caledonia. Normally when you think of tropical places you think of beautiful beaches and palm trees. Well seeing this building was a bit of a surprise! During the tour of Nouméa we were taken to a place where kids are allowed to graffiti on a building, from memory I recall the tour guide saying was an old theatre.

Some of the graffiti was very impressive and honestly some was a work of art.

Cheers,

Jason

Colorful Houses

Quaint and colorful houses on the Fondamenta Pontinello, Burano Island. Taken on our recent trip to Venice, Italy.
The Island is well known for it's original production of Laceware.

Moon Light

This was an intense Lunar Coronal display from a while back - some PS enhancement to characterize it a little further

Rainbow Lorikeet

Stopped for a sausage sizzle lunch at Cams Wharf (Lake Macquarie) the other day with my lovely wife, when this Colourful interloper stopped by to check out the menu.
Just had time to snap this quick shot with my phone.
I believe it fills the category brief beautifully

This was one of the stranger experiences I've had, standing inside a hot air balloon while it was laying on the ground while the pilot kept blasting the burners behind me to keep it inflated. Note this photo is looking parallel to the ground, not up.

Nord

I took this photo on the wreck of the Nord (1915) in Tasmania. These are cold southern waters but look at those tropical colours.

First time here.

This a photo from June but is colourful!

Brisvegas at night. Like the way this turned out, it's a 30 sec exposure at ISO 100, 18mm lens at F/13 Canon 1100D.

Cheers,

Justin.

Shanghai Colour

This "colourful" panorama was taken in the original part of Shanghai. I cannot begin to describe the number of people that were in this square which made for a colourful time, not just visually but for the other senses as well. Please note the little piece of Americana that's been transplanted here - see the green logo in the top right-hand corner...

The panorama is almost perfect except for one small area - I wish people would keep still when I take my panos!!

Anyway, my contribution to this month's colourful theme!

Cheers,
Mario
