Virgin Galactic takes first passenger to edge of space

It is being reported the vehicle reached a maximum altitude of 89.9km.

Amazing! Hopefully it wont take long for other airline companies to jump in.
I can see in the future this will be way to travel from one continent to the other.

That's a very cool video. Is there a way to carry a heavier vehicle this way that could carry enough fuel to put something in low earth orbit?
